While we of course still have a good time talking or going for a walk, we both look forward to this time as it's something fun and different for us to do. There has been a handful of times where updates, uplay outages, or the multiplayer being down has caused us to miss out on playing for that month. We have to plan our "Anno Dates" a month in advance. My wife and I have a newborn, playing this game is one of the few things we get to do together that isn't taking care of kiddo. Small Rant: This is one of my complaints with these forced always connected, forced updates approach. Originally posted by Omegawarrior:Same thing happening to me after the latest update, haven't been able to play a game at all. I have screenshots of both errors but not seeing a place to upload them at this time, will either link off to hosted one or figure out a way to upload here. Tried disabling/removing AV, turned off Windows Firewall. Removed all traces of modding and started fresh with the game files, tried from another house on a new PC. Internet connection checks out, no packet loss, no routing issues down further outside the house (or in the house), good bandwidth. I even spun up a brand new computer that I was getting ready to build anyways and tested at a friends house with the same result. To be transparent, we have been modding all this time but we went so far as to remove all mods, remove anno, reinstall vanilla anno with no mods or traces of mods. If we hit continue to try again it goes back through the reload process and then bombs out with a "Oops! Anno has encountered a problem and needs to be restarted. I tried loading a different multiplayer that didn't have any of the expansions enabled on it and it bombed out before the set sail loaded, might not mean anything but I at least ruled out the particular save. If you sit there long enough you get the desync error, if you click it nothing happens and the desync error occurs. Usually it happens right around the "Set Sail" appears, which is to say you can't even really click it. Both systems have Season Pass 1 and 2 for Anno. Latest drivers, Win10 with latest Windows updates. System #x 64GB RAM, RTX 3090, SSD, 4k resolution. " if we choose "Continue" on the LR40 error (after it of course tries to reload again).Īll on PC, not using the Geforce Now. We also get the "Oops! Anno 1800 has encountered a problem. Same thing happening to me after the latest update, haven't been able to play a game at all. If anyone knows a possible solution to this problem, I'd be very grateful for your help When I played before the update there were no problems, ping super 61-63ms max so it's a matter of uploading data. There were no problems before the latest update. Unfortunately, this error only happens to me, when my friends play, they don't have lags or anything like that, after I join their game or when we create a new one, we play normally for about 5-10 minutes and they do appear. I have the same problem, in addition, I had one more problem, namely the game did not want to connect to ubisoft and then after a few restarts it did not even want to turn on, the solution was to change DX12 to DX11 in the game's config docs, after saving this change in notepad, the game started to launch and reconnect to ubi thanks to which I can play now (I'm writing this if someone had this problem so that everyone would find a solution DX11 (DirectX 11) is more stable with the game than DX12, 12 crashes) unfortunately there was an LR40 problem and desyncs with huge lags.
